What exactly does Coastal Golf Studios do?
We design, build, and install premium indoor golf simulator studios. That includes room layout, enclosure selection, projector and screen sizing, launch monitor setup, turf and hitting mat integration, safety padding, and post-install support.
Do you sell kits?
We can ship components to you. Every space is measured and designed before we recommend components. If a simple enclosure is the right solution, we’ll specify the right frame, netting, turf, projector, and launch monitor for your room.
Where are you located?
wil We’re based in Longs, SC and install throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Virginia. We travel nationally for multi-bay and commercial builds.
Space & Room Requirements
How much space do I need?
Ideal dimensions:
- Ceiling Height: 10–12 ft (lower can work with certain configurations)
- Width: 12–16 ft for right/left-handed play
- Depth: 5–20 ft (hitting area + ball flight + projector throw)
Can this go in my garage?
Yes — garage conversions are some of our most popular projects. We handle flooring, insulation, lighting, and climate control options to create a clean, finished environment.
What about outdoor or backyard structures?
Absolutely. We design and build backyard simulator studios, pavilion enclosures, and free-standing buildings styled to match your property.
Installation & Build Process
How long does installation take?
- Simple enclosure: 4–8 hours
- Premium single-bay studio: 1–2 days
- Commercial multi-bay: 2–7 days depending on scope
Do you handle projector placement and alignment?
Yes — proper throw distance, keystone, brightness, and shadow control are critical. We dial in image geometry professionally.
Do you provide training?
Yes — we train homeowners, rental property staff, instructors, league managers, and venue operators.
Equipment & Technology
What launch monitor or tracking system do you use?
We primarily specify GolfJoy systems for accuracy, software experience, and reliability. However, we can integrate TrackMan, GCQuad, Uneekor, SkyTrak+, or others if preferred.
What software can I play?
Depending on the launch monitor, you can play courses, driving range modes, skills challenges, practice analysis, shot tracers, multiplayer, and league play. Most launch monitors now run GSPRO…and excellent choice with a $250
Do I need a gaming PC?
Short answer…yes, it is best that you use one. We recommend Windows PC with a dedicated graphics card. Most gaming PCs will work. We’ll spec the exact hardware required for your setup.

- Simple Enclosure Packages: $5900–$12,500
- Premium Home Studios: $17,000–$49,400+
- Commercial Multi-Bay Facilities: $38,000–$110,000+ depending on layout
Do you offer financing?
Yes — we can assist with financing options for both homeowners and businesses. Ask for current programs.
What’s the payment schedule?
Design Plan → 50% Equipment Order → Final Payment on Completion.

Yes — we help facilities launch leagues, bracket play, seasonal events, lessons, club fitting, and corporate outings.

We’re your first call. We handle troubleshooting, help with replacement parts, and service coordination with hardware / launch monitor partners.
